I've managed to reclaim an area under the stairs for my crafting. Unfortunately it doesn't yet have room for a table never mind a table to craft on. well, that's a problem that I'm working on. So my workdesk is really just a pile of RUB stacked on top of each other. At the right of this photo is the shelves that hold all my other bits and bobs. Now for some inspiration and time to clamber over the ladders to get to my stash.

Ooh the potential of a new craft area to look forward to! You have to grab the opportunities when you can! LOTV have just done a blog hop for their new Christmas releases too, so of course I entered that! You just never know! Hope you're recovering well and enjoying the nice weather.

I feel terribly spoilt when i read posts like yours crafting understairs, I feel like I am looking in a Harry Potter movie lol. I loved playing understairs unfortunately we cant in this house as it s all enclosed

Ah, but Caroline..if you have RUBs, you can move them to wherever you wanna sit! I see a hoover..like me, you share space with glamorous domestic appliances! Just read on Elizabeth's that after clinic you're meeting friends - have a super day.

I can't help but think you need one of those bags thatHermione had, one that seems endless in what it can hold - that's the only way *I* could fit my stash in a cupboard under the stairs :)

Well, speaking as a crafter that has a closet to work in, under the stairs sounds exciting...LOL Just remember to get so good light in there!

Hi Caroline, at least RUBs are portable so you can craft wherever you can find a flat surface until you can figure how you can get a desk into that tight space. Hope all went well at Yorkhill today and that you had a lovely time in Irvine with your friend. Hugs, Elizabeth xx

I'm working on a new crafting area too. Only my area is has a table. I have to share my craft room with my daughter and her dance floor though.I'm perfectly ok with that though. I wanna paint, and hubby is working on designing me som storage. So I may not have all the toys I want, but eventually I will have a nice place to play. Looks as you will too. (((HUGS)))
