Its wednesday again so time for What is on your Workdesk Wednesday. To join in the fun pop over to Julia's blog to see what everyone is working on.

This week I am working on scrapbooking. I had a long break from it over Nov and Dec due to christmas cards etc, but now i really feel the need to get back into the swing of it.

I am lucky enough to have lots of heritage photos from my grandmother, even though my mum has claimed almost all of the completed pages so far. At least i get to look through a nice album when i visit her. It is surprising how much you forget, sometimes i'm pleasantly surprised when i turn over and see a layout i had forgotten that was there.

My desk today does actually have space, it is just that i opened my working album to show some of the ongoing projects. It also has some old freebie papers and stickers and chipboard flowers. I am trying to use up my old stash. On Monday i was so pleased with myself because i managed to use some fab freebie ribbon  from about 3 years ago. The layout is in a post below if you want to see. Ofcourse there is an ulterior motive - if i use my old stash i can buy new stash when i am back in march, lol.

Hope everyone has a lovely wednesday, the sun is shining outside and that pleases me no end! Does everyone craft better when they are in a happy frame of mind or is it just me?

I'm impressed that you are organized enough to have a work-in-progress album. It's only been 2 1/2 weeks into the new year, and I've not bought anything new yet - but golly it's hard to resist. I actually find that a gloomy day can help me to focus on crafting - it's when there are 3 or 4 in a row that I lose my mojo.

Well done for using your heritage photos to good effect. Among all ours, I also found some old greeting cards, which I am starting to resurrect and use.

I have so many older supplies that if I had to use just new stuff I couldn't work. Always love free stuff to.

Hi there Caroline - yes one does craft better when the mood is good but a little bit of sunshine also helps.
I like your theory about using old stash to make room for new - does that mean you are visiting Scotland in March?
I agree with Susan (above) - you are lucky to have access to old photos and I hope we get to see the pages.
Hope you are having a great day.

Hi Caroline, I can't believe it has taken me to Sunday to get to your blog! Love that you are getting back to scrapbooking - I really thought I would be working on my scrapbooking now that the Christmas/New Year thing is well and truly behind us but I keep getting distracted. Love the papers you have chosen for the current layout. I's only a few weeks to March now :) Regards, Elizabeth x #78
