WOYWW 216

well, not much crafting for me this past wee while. I did however manage to acquire a bit of new stash during a trip to TK. Of course we were shopping for linen for DH, but hey when presented with an opportunity...I took it....right to the cash desk.

I've managed to reclaim an area under the stairs for my crafting. Unfortunately it doesn't yet have room for a table never mind a table to craft on. well, that's a problem that I'm working on. So my workdesk is really just a pile of RUB stacked on top of each other. At the right of this photo is the shelves that hold all my other bits and bobs. Now for some inspiration and time to clamber over the ladders to get to my stash.

Why don't you join in with the fun at Julia's today, and show us what you are working on too.

Ooh the potential of a new craft area to look forward to! You have to grab the opportunities when you can! LOTV have just done a blog hop for their new Christmas releases too, so of course I entered that! You just never know! Hope you're recovering well and enjoying the nice weather.

I don't even have a pile of RUB to work on - the floor for me... not very comfortable though, I don't really recommend it! Hope you have a good week. Helen 7

As they say - where there's a will there's a way! You will enjoy crafting wherever you manage to create a little space so go for it! x Jo

Ah, but Caroline..if you have RUBs, you can move them to wherever you wanna sit! I see a hoover..like me, you share space with glamorous domestic appliances! Just read on Elizabeth's that after clinic you're meeting friends - have a super day.

Hi. Get the ladders out, and you will have a good space there. You could always sit on the RUBs not in use....

Have a great week working things out.

I really hope that you get to claim your crafting space very soon as I know what it feels like not to be able to sit with all your stash around you. Enjoy your new bits when you get the chance
Sending a hug for WOYWW and I hope you have a great week

I can't help but think you need one of those bags thatHermione had, one that seems endless in what it can hold - that's the only way *I* could fit my stash in a cupboard under the stairs :)

Happy WOYWW!

Well, speaking as a crafter that has a closet to work in, under the stairs sounds exciting...LOL Just remember to get so good light in there!

When I read your post I immediately thought of Harry Potter's room under the stairs! I bet you will turn it into a fun space for YOU! Once it is set up as you want it, we will know where to find you! Winnie#82

look forward to seeing what you do with the space. Anne x #9

Hi Caroline, at least RUBs are portable so you can craft wherever you can find a flat surface until you can figure how you can get a desk into that tight space. Hope all went well at Yorkhill today and that you had a lovely time in Irvine with your friend. Hugs, Elizabeth xx

How exciting is it when you have a chance for a rearrange or entirely new work-space. It's also a great chance to reacquaint yourself with all those forgotten items in your stash. Looking forward to seeing everything set up. Happy WOYWW! Danie #72

I'm working on a new crafting area too. Only my area is has a table. I have to share my craft room with my daughter and her dance floor though.I'm perfectly ok with that though. I wanna paint, and hubby is working on designing me som storage. So I may not have all the toys I want, but eventually I will have a nice place to play. Looks as you will too. (((HUGS)))
